Welcome - Join us for the Winter Classic 2012 Hosted by the National Fusion Soccer Club in Sugar Land, Texas.

This tournament represents an excellent opportunity for U8-U16 boys and girls teams to prepare for their various spring competitions. As a "tune-up" for the spring season and the new soccer year, this will be your chance to evaluate new players and teams against stiff competition. We invite teams of all competitive levels to participate and we will make every attempt to fill each competitive level to ensure that everyone is challenged. This tournament will consist of 3 registration flights for each age and sex grouping:

Gold (highest level – Premier & Div 1)

Silver (Super 2, Div 2 & Academy U8-U10)
Bronze (Div 2, 3 & Recreational U8-U10)

Single age brackets and levels will be formed where applications support the groupings.
*Please note, U11 and U12 brackets will be 8 v 8 only.

Awards will be presented to champions and finalists in each flight or level for U9 through U16. All U8 players will be presented a participation award per STYSA requirements. All teams will play "round robin" within each bracket with advancement to semifinals for all flights of 8 or more teams for brackets U9 and above. All teams will be guaranteed to play at least three games.

We are asking for all teams registering to identify their current playing level. Teams will be placed into the flights of competition by the tournament bracket committee. Please provide sufficient information in the "Team History" section of the online registration system to allow the correct placement.
